For many weeks now, the Corona pandemic has kept us on tenterhooks and forcing us to make unexpected changes in our societies, economies, cultures and lifestyles. This also applies to the FRANKfurtstyleaward 2020 BENEFITS of CHANGE.

The FRANKfurtstyleaward 2020 goes digital
Creativity has become even more important in these times of lockdown! The many talented young designers from all over the world deserve to be listened to more than ever!
The FRANKfurtstyleaward 2020 will therefore definitely take place. The international competition for young fashion & design talents is currently undergoing a transformation. According to this year’s motto BENEFITS of CHANGE, we too are changing and are now going digital.
Preliminary timetable
- FRANKfurtstyleaward goes digital:
- Nomination of the TOP60 finalists (April 20, 2020).
- The finalists are asked to shoot a video of about 2 minutes with their finished design for the virtual Finale Award Show.
- Deadline for receipt of the video: June 1, 2020
- Wild Card Voting
- 45 designs that did not make it into the TOP60 are available for the Wild Card Voting 2020 on Facebook.
- The Wild Card Voting runs from April 20 to 30, 2020
- The three designs with the most “Likes” will be part of the TOP60 and the virtual finale show on 27 June 2020.
- Second evaluation round of the jury
- From June 1 – 10, the jury will re-evaluate the designs of TOP60 finalists and select the TOP10 Award Winners.
- The TOP10 finalists will be invited to send their designs to Frankfurt to participate in the FRANKfurtstyleaward 2020 Award Ceremony to Frankfurt on June 27, 2020.
- Save the Date: FRANKfurtstyleaward 2020 VIRTUAL FINALE SHOW & AWARD CEREMONY on June 27, 2020.
