Messe Frankfurt – Tendence

On June 29, 2019, the finale of the FRANKfurtstyleaward 2019 will take place with fashion shows and the award ceremony for the first time at Tendence, the trade fair for consumer goods.

Logically arranged by retail channel, lifestyle and target group, Tendence (June 27 – 30, 2020) takes its cue from the needs of consumers. It therefore enables retailers to compile their product ranges in a highly focused manner and to implement them in their own stores, ensuring the success of their business. As a consumer goods trade fair, Tendence demonstrates the latest trends and products in interior design, home accessories, gifts, jewellery, fashion and lifestyle. Retailers benefit from a wide range of inspirations to support their sales as well as a powerful complementary programme. Tendence is the platform for new products, presenting trends for winter and Christmas. At the same time, it is a good opportunity for anyone wanting to place orders in good time for their spring and summer collections.

TexWorld Paris

Texworld Paris  is a trade fair open to all fashion brands, major luxury companies, major international clothing manufacturers and least but not last, young designers. The next Texworld will take place from 16 to 19 September 2019.

ApparalSourcing Paris

With more than 600 exhibitors from all over the world, apparelsourcing Paris is the largest apparel fair in Europe. The next apparelsourcing will take place with Texworld Paris from 16 to 19 September 2019.

Avantex Paris

avantex Paris is the first international trade fair dedicated to innovation in the textile and fashion industry. From conception to sale, it integrates innovative fabrics, materials, components, products and services for the fashion industry. It brings together experts – from designers and well-known brands to textile manufacturers and universities – to create tomorrow’s fashion and open up new markets. FRANK®-THE TROPHY comes from Wächtersbach, a traditional company that today belongs to Brachtwerk, and has an extraordinary history.

FRANK®-THE TROPHY is based on a historical sculpture from the 1920s, drawn by an artist we do not know by name, who is said to have worked in the Wächtersbach manufactory at a similar time to the most famous fashion draughtswoman in the world, Annie Ofterdinger. The sculpture has been re-edited, combines two years of tradition, art and fashion and is intended to honour young designers in the future. It is a fashion figure of extraordinary, creative quality, which was made in the original only once.

VDMD – Network of German Fashion and Textile Designer

The VDMD is the strongest professional representation for fashion and textile designers in Germany. More and more, design is seen as an essential factor for the economic success of a product. 

All activities of the association serve to better anchor design performance in politics, in the awareness of the industry, the consumer and in the social context. In addition, it is important to VDMD to generate networks of competent consulting services and to create profound information offers both internally and externally.
