This year, the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD was bestowed a special honor: the International Fashion Contest for upcoming talents showed a Defilé of roughly 40 creations from this year’s Finale on October 7 in Milan. At the invitation of Hessian State Minister Tarek Al-Wazir, the show took place during an evening reception for the EXPO Delegation Trip. The focal point of the committee is the creative economy in Europe. In front of 120 guests from Germany and Italy, including Italian Consul General in Frankfurt Maurizio Canfora, our upcoming models presented the Defile.
For the winner of the OUTSTANDING TALENT AWARD Anastasia Liebe it was the highpoint to her „once in a lifetime Italy“ trip. As ambassador for the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD she is a “bella figura” and caused much sensation with her design “Prisma” in the fashion capital. An excursion through Milan is also on the itinerary in addition to EXPO Milano. Along her route, she visited our guest jury 2015 Licia Mattioli in Turin on October 9th and Roma Fashion Week. in Rome on October 11th. There she presented her dress “Prisma” at the invitation of organizer Tatiana Guenkina.

An exciting time as ambassador of the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD has just begun for the upcoming designer. Presumably next year, her trip will take her to Shanghai, China. The country currently stands first in line as the partner country 2016 and has an enthusiastic advocate for the partnership with Aping Li-Herold, President of the Oversees Chinese in Germany.
As with the fashion show in Paris, the Defilé was assembled and choreographed by fashion designer Eymeric Francois. “We feel honored to have the opportunity to bring and show the wonderful creations of our talented designers in Italy’s fashion capital Milan,” stated Hannemie Stitz-Krämer, Founder of the Frankfurt STYLE AWARD, happily. “Many thanks go to State Minister Tarek Al-Wazir for inviting us.”
Important players for the production of the fashion show were also present at the reception: Marco Marcu, Backstage Director of the Award and Contest ally since its first hour, Tyrown Vincent supporter of the Award for 5 years, and Sevgi Schäfer , Jury Member and Principal of the Famous Face Academy. Schäfer travelled with two of her students to oversee the make-up and styling of the models. Last but not least, 10 upcoming models who walked during the AWARD GALA on September 5, presented the collection in Milan – including participants in the Main Top Model Contest 2015

The arrival of the models, make-up artists and choreographers and organizers on Tuesday was a happy reunion. On Tuesday, October 6th, the models went on a tour of the city and its fashion hotspots. That evening a special guest joined the dinner: State Minister Tarek Al-Wazir came to personally greet the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD Team. An exciting high-point and a nice attunement for the fashion show the following day.
