Outstanding Talent 2015 Anastasia in Italy

Outstanding Talent 2015, Anastasia Liebe from Rüsselsheim, enjoyed her prize “Once-in-a-Lifetime Italy” and went on an exciting road trip through the Italian fashion metropolises. She started with a sponsored flight by Miles & More to Milan where she and the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD Team presented a Defilé of 40 selected designs from the PIONEERING DESTINY Collection 2015.

The fashion show took place during an evening reception for the EXPO Delegation Trip at the invitation of Hessian State Minister Tarel Al-Wazir. Anastasia’s winning design “Prisma” was the highlight of the show and wowed the audience. After a comfortable stay at the FOUR POINTS by Sheraton Milan Center, she visited the EXPO Milano. “It was my first time at an EXPO and I really enjoyed myself!”, said the Outstanding Talent.

Her road trip continued to Turin the next day. Licia Mattioli, owner and honorary jury member, invited Anastasia to a private city tour through the beautiful city and later on to a guided tour through her company and the in-house goldsmiths. A highlight for the Outstanding Talent was the opportunity to try on the precious gold jewelry. “A real once in a lifetime experience!” claimed the designer from Rüsselsheim. Afterwards Anastasia were given two more guided tours through renowned “Made in Italy” companies. The textile manufacturing company l’Opificio inspired Anastasia with its fabrics and materials so much that she took the opportunity to order samples for her own studio. She already imagined a new collection using the samples. The precious Chocolaterie Guido Gobino showed her the making of original Turin chocolate and generously allowed her to taste all the different kinds of it.

Last stop of her journey was finally the Italian capital Rome. Anastasia was immediately fascinated by the city and its flair and enjoyed a day exploring all the famous sights like the Colloseum and the St. Peter’s Basilica. However, an exciting event was waiting for our Outstanding Talent: the Rome Fashion Week. At the invitation of Tatiana Guenkina, Anastasia presented her design “Prisma” and networked with other designers. It was a great chance for the upcoming designer to gain insight to the fashion business.

“All in all it was a very intensive, exciting and eventful time for me. Both personally and work-related!” the AWARD winner summed up her road trip.

And the excitement continues: The city of Rüsselsheim took notice of Anastasia and her participation in the talent contest and offered her the job to design the outfits for the Hessentagspaar, the couple that will represent Rüsselsheim at the annual Hessentag. (Hessia Day). Colors, fabrics and cuts have already been selected; Anastasia is currently working on the last adjustments. The final outfits will be presented at the Hessentag for the first time.
