The FRANKfurtstyleaward TOP60 COLLECTION 2016 had its final fashion show in front of an international audience in Paris. At the invitation of Michael Scherpe, President of Messe Frankfurt France S.A.S., the FRANKfurtstyleaward presented 30 designs at the renowned textile fair Apparel Sourcing Paris on February 8, 2017. “We are very pleased to support young designers and give them a platform within an international fashion show,” said Michael Scherpe.

FRANKfurtstyleaward COLLECTION 2016 in Berlin
Three designs of the FRANKfurtstyleaward TOP60 COLLECTION 2016 were presented at the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin from January 17 to 19, 2017. The highlight of the FRANKfurtstyleaward booth and magnet for visitors and several photographers was the design “Mikro-Kosmos” by OUTSTANDING TALENT 2016 Alexander Tverdovski.
On the third and final day of the fair, the talented young designer from Fahmoda – Akademie für Mode und Design Hannover was on site to answer questions of curious visitors and to make new contacts. From time to time, he took advantage of short breaks to continue to work on his newest sketch, which he might use for his potential renewed application for the FRANKfurtstyleaward 2017.
Altogether, exhibitors and organizers were very satisfied with all three days of the fair. “With collections of high-quality, the two fairs once again enthralled an enlarged area. The massive run of visitors during all three days of the fair confirm that our huge spectrum is very well received”, says Olaf Schmidt, Vice President of Textiles & Textile Technologies of Messe Frankfurt towards the online portal fashionnetwork.com.
Following the Roadshow stop in Berlin, the FRANKfurtstyleaward TOP60 COLLECTION 2016 now prepares for its big performance at Apparel Sourcing Paris on February 8, 2017. In Paris, Designer and Art Director Eymeric Francois will magnificently draw attention to 30 selected Designs.

Following Frankfurt and Shanghai, the FRANKfurtstyleaward COLLECTION 2016 now goes to Berlin. Three designs will be shown at the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin from January 17 to 19, 2017. They will be exhibited at the FRANKfurtstyleaward booth 1.0 B23 at the invitation of Texpertise Network by Messe Frankfurt.

FRANKfurtstyleaward at the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin
FRANKfurtstyleaward goes Berlin! Three designs from the TOP60 COLLECTION 2016 will be shown at the FRANKfurtstyleaward booth during the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin from January 17 to 19, 2017, at the invitation of Texpertise Network by Messe Frankfurt.
Together with the Greenshowroom, the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin is one of the greatest events for sustainable fashion worldwide organized by Messe Frankfurt. The fair, which always takes place within the frame of the Berlin Fashion Week, focuses on ecology, social responsibility and transparency. Every year, the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin offers an exciting program of fashion shows, showcases, lectures and panel discussions. Many prestigious representatives of fashion, politics, film and television are expected at the panel and within the audience.
The following designs were selected by Messe Frankfurt to be presented at the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin: “Mikro-Kosmos” by OUTSTANDING TALENT 2016, Alexander Tverdovski from Fahmoda – Akademie für Mode und Design Hannover, “Brod ,N’ Rude” by Raili Auraskari, winner of the category “Bronx vs. Boulevard” and student at Kymenlaakso University of Applied Sciences in Finland and “Deconstruction and Reconstruction” from Claudya Xena, fashion design student at Raffles College Singapore.
While Alexander used 1000 paper rolls from several magazines for his design, Raili enthralled through the processing of recycled materials like old socks and curtains. The third design “Deconstruction and Reconstruction” by Claudya Xena consists of old, white T-Shirts that were processed into a dress through macramé.
The FRANKfurtstyleaward team will, of course, also be on-site and is already very excited about great and informative conversations as well as inspiring news from the fashion and textile branch.

Alexander Tverdovski impressed everyone at the Award Gala with his design “Mikro-Kosmos” and was, therefore, elected as the Outstanding Talent 2016. To create something extraordinary, the student from Fahmoda – Akademie für Mode und Design Hannover processed roughly 1000 magazine pages within his design.
