FRANKfurtstyleaward at the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin

FRANKfurtstyleaward goes Berlin! Three designs from the TOP60 COLLECTION 2016 will be shown at the FRANKfurtstyleaward booth during the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin from January 17 to 19, 2017, at the invitation of Texpertise Network by Messe Frankfurt.

Together with the Greenshowroom, the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin is one of the greatest events for sustainable fashion worldwide organized by Messe Frankfurt. The fair, which always takes place within the frame of the Berlin Fashion Week, focuses on ecology, social responsibility and transparency. Every year, the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin offers an exciting program of fashion shows, showcases, lectures and panel discussions. Many prestigious representatives of fashion, politics, film and television are expected at the panel and within the audience.

The following designs were selected by Messe Frankfurt to be presented at the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin: “Mikro-Kosmos” by OUTSTANDING TALENT 2016, Alexander Tverdovski from Fahmoda – Akademie für Mode und Design Hannover, “Brod ,N’ Rude” by Raili Auraskari, winner of the category “Bronx vs. Boulevard” and student at Kymenlaakso University of Applied Sciences in Finland and “Deconstruction and Reconstruction” from Claudya Xena, fashion design student at Raffles College Singapore.

While Alexander used 1000 paper rolls from several magazines for his design, Raili enthralled through the processing of recycled materials like old socks and curtains. The third design “Deconstruction and Reconstruction” by Claudya Xena consists of old, white T-Shirts that were processed into a dress through macramé.

The FRANKfurtstyleaward team will, of course, also be on-site and is already very excited about great and informative conversations as well as inspiring news from the fashion and textile branch.
