On September 5, the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD GALA will kick-off the FASHION WEEKEND at Frankfurt Airport. Fashion and airport enthusiasts are invited to the Fraport Fashion Forum during the AirXperience Day – “ Fashion on Air”. With more than 100 designers, the Frankfurt Airport will be transformed into an international fashion hotspot.
In addition to international pop-up stores, haute couture & tailoring craftsmanship from the Rhein-Main area, international designers will show their collections on the runway.
Internationale Fashion Shows
The day will start with a highlight from Senegal: The designer Rama Diaw will introduce her label – Rama Diaw Fashion Design – in Frankfurt and will excite guests with her urban and casual collection with an African touch.
Additional fashion from Senegal will be shown by two young designers, who will present their fashion in Germany for the first time.
Fashion from China
The Chinese desginer Yiphak will present the most recent collection of her label „Opera Fashion“ that is worn by celebrities around the world.
Fashion from Berlin
Under the newcomers on the runway, the tailors of the Tailoring Guild Rhein-Main, who will show the best creations from their creative contest “Creations en noir et blanc”.
From the HTW Berlin, 6 young designers will show their collections from this year’s graduate show.
Fashion from Frankfurt
Ajdar Susuri from Frankfurt am Main and Nora Wenzlawiak from Wolfsburg will introduce their labels.
Susuri designs elegant, extravagant and feminine fashion that is full of surprising and luxurious fabric combinations.
A diverse and exciting fashion show schedule with many fashion impressions, inspired by film, culture and the current Zeitgeist. A mixture between wearable fashion for everyday and haute couture for a special occasion.
