At the invitation of Michael Scherpe, President of Messe Frankfurt France S.A.S., the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD 2015 presented 40 designs of this year’s PIONEERING DESTINY COLLECTION at ApparelSourcing Paris on September 14.
All in all, 12 awards were awarded during the festive Gala at Frankfurt Airport on September 5. The first place winners in the categories “Blue Revolution”, “ECOlogical Green” and “Over the Rainbow” come from Israel, Germany and Spain.

On September 5, the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD GALA will kick-off the FASHION WEEKEND at Frankfurt Airport. Fashion and airport enthusiasts are invited to the Fraport Fashion Forum during the AirXperience Day – “ Fashion on Air”. With more than 100 designers, the Frankfurt Airport will be transformed into an international fashion hotspot. In addition to international pop-up stores, haute couture & tailoring craftsmanship from the Rhein-Main area, international designers will show their collections on the runway.
Golden, brilliant wings and a model’s smile: a glowing Sandy will stand alongside the competition winners on September 5, 2015 at the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD Gala. This year, the previous Germany’s Next Topmodel candidate will present the winners with their awards. She will be stylishly outfitted by Miles & More as an angel with wings made from Miles & More gold credit cards. The FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD is happy to have won Miles & More as a Gold Sponsor for the International Talent Contest for Fashion & Design. Häuser der Mode Frankfurt (Houses of Fashion) were once again the location for the preparations of the big FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD Finale on September 5th, 2015. All important partners and participants came together to arrange the runway show for the Gala evening of the International Talent Contest.

With the Fitting & Photoshooting of the TOP60 designs on August 8, the countdown for the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD has started. For this occasion, the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD team and its partners come together with make up artists of the Famous Face Academy, Ty-Rown Vincent (advocate and model coach), Marco Marcu (backstage director) and Eymeric Francois (art director) at the Häuser der Mode Frankfurt in Eschborn. The crew will arrange the perfect Runway Show for the big FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD FINALE at the Fraport-Forum of Frankfurt Airport on September 5.
The idea behind the cooperation with Marco Marcu is our concept of Talent4Talent. For years, Marcu has perfectly staged the outfits of the TOP 60 at the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD FITTING and FINALE with his young upcoming models. With his know-how as a designer and experience from his catwalk shows, he supports the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD Team in front of and behind the stage. As backstage director, he holds the reigns behind the curtain and ensures a smooth workflow. At the FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD GALA, many of the young models are on the runway for the first time and have Marcu as an experienced contact person, who gives them valuable pointers.
The Greenshowroom and the Ethical Fashion Show, the two “green” fairs from the Texpertise Network of Messe Frankfurt make up one the largest fashion events for sustainable fashion. Ecology, social responsibility and transparency play a central role.
