The successful partnership between Fraport AG and FRANKfurtstyleaward now reaches a digital dimension. The new Digital Showroom on Frankfurt Airport’s online shopping portal shows the latest nominations of the TOP60 finalists of the FRANKfurtstyleaward 2016. According to Fraport AG there are more than 100.000 visits per day. These are the best 60 designs out of 270 applications from young talents around the world. Visitors of the Digital Showroom can lean back and track the award or even act as judges, nominating their favorite design for the public choice award. All designs will finally be presented live at the Award Gala in the Alte Oper Frankfurt on September 23rd, 2016. Please find the complete press release here.  

EastWestModels on the Runway of the FRANKfurtstyleaward

This year the Top60 designs will be presented by models signed with the agency EastWestModels. With this cooperation the FRANKfurtstyleaward once again strengthens the alliance fashion in the RheinMainRegion by associating with the model agency EastWestModels, yet another international partner. Harper’s Bazar, Vogue, Porsche Design and Otto are some of the renowned agency’s costumers. The agency’s models walk the runway at fashion shows in Milan, New York, London and Paris für designers such as Armani, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Alexander Wang.

Follow the creative process from sketches to the runway – During the next months the design sketches of the TOP60 can be admired in the Digital Showroom. On Frankfurt Airport’s online shopping website the new Digital Showroom shows the TOP60 finalists of the FRANKfurtstyleaward 2016. All designs will finally be presented live at the Award Gala in the Alte Oper Frankfurt on September 23rd, 2016.

Wild Card Winners announced: Lucky ones are from Germany, Ireland and Israel!

The FRANKfurtstyleaward Wild Card Voting has exceeded all expectations. An impressive 20,000 Facebook users voted for their favorite designs. 3,000 people shared the design gallery on Facebook, reaching 200,000 users worldwide. Thus it is not surprising that with Nina Kramer from the AMD Hamburg, Shauna Reilley from Griffith College Dublin and Roni Peretz from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Israel the internationality of the Award is also reflected in the winners of the voting.
