The FRANKfurtstyleaward Roadshow 2017/18 celebrated its kick-off at the Apparel Sourcing & Texworld fashion and textile fairs in Paris. On February 13th, a Defilé with selected designs of the 10th Anniversary collection of the FRANKfurtstyleaward was staged on the catwalk.

Berkan Design opened the Fashion Shows at the 10th FRANKfurtstyleaward Gala with the show “Couture of the Opera”.

10 years of creativity, innovation and passion – The FRANKFURT STYLE AWARD is celebrating its anniversary Gala as at Frankfurt Airport. Under the patronage of the city of Frankfurt the competition is turning into a no 1 fashion & style event. This year’s guest country USA creates a transatlantic atmosphere at the Fraport-Forum.

Like in the last years the Häuser der Mode (hdm) were the perfect stage for the annual fitting of the FRANKfurtstyleaward. Two months before the award gala that will take place on november 10th at Fraport-Forum at Frankfurt Airport, models of the well established agency East West Models presented the innovative and creative designs of the categories #working, #sporting & #dating.

The FRANKfurtstyleaward TOP60 COLLECTION 2016 had its final fashion show in front of an international audience in Paris. At the invitation of Michael Scherpe, President of Messe Frankfurt France S.A.S., the FRANKfurtstyleaward presented 30 designs at the renowned textile fair Apparel Sourcing Paris on February 8, 2017. “We are very pleased to support young designers and give them a platform within an international fashion show,” said Michael Scherpe.

Three designs of the FRANKfurtstyleaward TOP60 COLLECTION 2016 were presented at the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin from January 17 to 19, 2017. The highlight of the FRANKfurtstyleaward booth and magnet for visitors and several photographers  was the design “Mikro-Kosmos” by  OUTSTANDING TALENT 2016 Alexander Tverdovski. On the third and final day of the fair, the talented young designer from Fahmoda – Akademie für Mode und Design Hannover was on site to answer questions of curious visitors and to make new contacts. From time to time, he took advantage of short breaks to continue to work on his newest sketch, which he might use for his potential renewed application for the FRANKfurtstyleaward 2017. Altogether, exhibitors and organizers were very satisfied with all three days of the fair. “With collections of high-quality, the two fairs once again enthralled an enlarged area. Alexander Tverdovski impressed everyone at the Award Gala with his design “Mikro-Kosmos” and was, therefore, elected as the Outstanding Talent 2016. To create something extraordinary, the student from Fahmoda – Akademie für Mode und Design Hannover processed roughly 1000 magazine pages within his design. In the interview, he speaks about his path of becoming the Outstanding Talent 2016.

An extraordinary prize was waiting for Raili Auraskari, winner of the category “Bronx vs. Boulevard,” who enthralled the jury of the FRANKfurtstyleaward with her design “Brod’n’Rude.” Raili won a four-day trip to the metropolis Frankfurt and received a unique insight distinguished from the usual frenetic business everyday life.

Numerous enablers and sponsors as well as the “Once-in-a-lifetime” Fashion Trip to Frankfurt winner, Raili Auraskari, followed the invitation for the Thank you-Lunch on November 10, 2016, from Franz Zimmermann, director of the Schlosshotel Kronberg, and Hannemie Stitz-Krämer, founder and initiator of the FRANKfurtstyleaward.
