Alexander Tverdovski impressed everyone at the Award Gala with his design “Mikro-Kosmos” and was, therefore, elected as the Outstanding Talent 2016. To create something extraordinary, the student from Fahmoda – Akademie für Mode und Design Hannover processed roughly 1000 magazine pages within his design. In the interview, he speaks about his path of becoming the Outstanding Talent 2016.
An extraordinary prize was waiting for Raili Auraskari, winner of the category “Bronx vs. Boulevard,” who enthralled the jury of the FRANKfurtstyleaward with her design “Brod’n’Rude.” Raili won a four-day trip to the metropolis Frankfurt and received a unique insight distinguished from the usual frenetic business everyday life.
Numerous enablers and sponsors as well as the “Once-in-a-lifetime” Fashion Trip to Frankfurt winner, Raili Auraskari, followed the invitation for the Thank you-Lunch on November 10, 2016, from Franz Zimmermann, director of the Schlosshotel Kronberg, and Hannemie Stitz-Krämer, founder and initiator of the FRANKfurtstyleaward.
At the invitation of THE ARTS+, the first fair on the business of creativity and culture worldwide, the FRANKfurtstyleaward celebrated its fashion show premiere at the Frankfurt Book Fair on Sunday, October 24, with a defile of the COLLECTION 2016. Following the outstanding presentation at CHIC and the well-attended exhibition at the Intertextile fair in Shanghai, the FRANKfurtstyleaward COLLECTION 2016 went to its second roadshow stop at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
Within the frame of this year’s Roadshow, the FRANKfurtstyleaward went to China for the first time. Briefly after the Award Gala in the Alte Oper Frankfurt on September 23, the COLLECTION 2016 of the FRANKfurtstyleaward left Frankfurt for Shanghai. As this year’s partner and host country, China was the first Roadshow stop prior to travels to the Frankfurt book fair, Berlin and finally Paris. At the CHIC International Fashion Fair in Shanghai, the FRANKfurtstyleaward presented twenty selected designs in an impressive fashion show, which was ceremoniously introduced by Detlef Braun, chief executive director of the Frankfurt Fair, and Hannemie Stitz-Krämer, founder and initiator of the FRANKfurtstyleaward. Following the show, ten additionally designs were displayed at a prominent stand at the Intertextile fair.
A “Once-in-a-lifetime” Fashion Trip to Shanghai was waiting for Mona Homm, winner of the category “Occident vs. Orient,” from Fahmoda – Akademie für Mode und Design Hannover. Briefly after the Award Gala of the FRANKfurtstyleaward, she traveled to Shanghai together with Hannemie Stitz-Krämer, initiator of the FRANKfurtstyleaward, from October 10 to 14.

Shanghai, October 11th-13th, 2016: For the first time the FRANKfurtstyleaward COLLECTION goes on tour to China, after its Premiere at the AWARD GALA in the Alte Oper Frankfurt, September 23rd. As China is Partner Country of the International Talent Contest for Fashion & Design this year, the Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. and Texpertise Network of Messe Frankfurt, sponsors of the contest for upcoming designers, invited the FRANKfurtstyleaward COLLECTION 2016 to its first stop in Shanghai before the Roadshow will continue in Berlin and Paris. 20 carefully selected designs will be presented in a fashion show at CHIC, Tuesday 11th, 11am at the North Hall. For the third time the FRANKfurtstyleaward Collection goes on an international roadshow. Former milestones were the EXPO Milano, Texworld and Apparel Sourcing Paris and the Berlin Fashion Week. This year the Messe Frankfurt France S.A.S. invited the FRANKfurtstyleaward Collection 2016 to its first stop in Shanghai.
