The FRANKfurtstyleaward started off a new decade with a kick-off press conference at the historic Römer Frankfurt on March 8, 2017. This year, the international talent contest is pleased with their prominent support: Star designer Harald Glööckler joins the FRANKfurtstyleaward 2017 as patron.
FRANKfurtstyleaward president and founder Hannemie Stitz-Krämer was very delighted to introduce star designer Harald Glööckler as FRANKfurtstyleaward Patron 2017 to longtime partners and supporters within the frame of the press conference.
Fascinated by the young talents‘ creative potential, star designer Harald Glööckler enthusiastically engages with the FRANKfurtstyleaward as patron and keynote speaker in the contest’s 10th anniversary. During the FRANKfurtstyleaward kick-off press conference, star designer Harald Glööckler shared his happiness about the upcoming cooperation and announced his support for the international talent contest: “For 10 years now, the FRANKfurtstyleaward offers national and international talents in design a steppingstone for their careers start. From my own experience, I know that the first step is always the hardest. Therefore, I am very delighted to be the patron and, thus, make use of my popularity to devote attention to the young creative artists.”
Numerous enablers and sponsors as well as last year’s FRANKfurtstyleaward winner in the category “Occident vs. Orient”, Mona Homm, followed the invitation to the kick-off press conference on March 8, 2017, from city council Markus Frank and Hannemie Stitz-Krämer, initiator of the FRANKfurtstyleaward. Apart from star designer Harald Glööckler, city council Markus Frank and Hannemie Stitz-Krämer, moreover, welcomed general manager of Wirtschaftsförderung Frankfurt GmbH Oliver Schwebel, state secretary of the Hessian Treasury Department Dr. Bernadette Weyland and the head of marketing communication of Messe Frankfurt Thimo Schwenzfeier at the podium.
Hannemie Stitz-Krämer took advantage of the press conference to thank the numerous partners of the FRANKfurtstyleaward for nine exciting years and the renewed support in the 10th anniversary as well as to tease this year’s AWARD GALA. With an incredibly high number of applications, the FRANKfurtstyleaward already celebrates the first record of its 10th anniversary year: In the frame of the kick-off press conference, Hannemie Stitz-Krämer proudly announced the success of 378 received applications from astonishing 102 different fashion schools and 36 countries.
True to his 30th Anniversary motto ”from duty to choice”, star designer Harald Glööckler will make use of his popularity and significance as keynote speaker to report his experiences to the young creative designers and appeal that talent needs encouragement and creativity needs a lobby at the FRANKfurtstyleaward AWARD GALA.
