FRANKfurtstyleaward goes THE ARTS+ – FRANK® for FUTURE Award 2019 will be presented at Frankfurt Book Fair

This year, the FRANKfurtstyleaward will be again present at the Frankfurt Book Fair with a stand in Hall 4.1, N 96. As part of the cultural festival THE ARTS+, the “FRANK® for FUTURE Award” will be presented for the first time on Sunday, 20 October at 14.00 hrs. the ten winners from the TOP60 Collection of this year’s international talent competition, which was held under the motto HEIMAT 4.0, will be shown on the catwalk of the THE ARTS+ stage. The ten young talents were awarded the “Hessischer Nachwuchspreis für Fashion & Design” in June 2019. Which platform would be better suited for talented young designers than the festival on the future of the creative and cultural economy THE ARTS+ at the Frankfurt Book Fair? FRANKfurtstyleaward 2019 HEIMAT 4.0 – Frankfurt celebrates international Fashion Talents at Tendence

At the FRANKfurtstyleaward Finale Show on June 29, 2019, the winners of the international competition for young designers in fashion and design were chosen. The TOP60 designs under the motto HEIMAT 4.0 were presented to a large audience in three fashion shows: “Urban”, “Adventure” and “Earth”. The expert jury selected the ten winners out of the TOP60 finalists who are coming from 23 countries. The world-renowned French designer icon Chantal Thomass is regarded as the icon of lingerie. At the 11th edition of the FRANKfurtstyleaward, the “Grande Dame of Dessous” will take over the honorary chairmanship of the jury and honor the budding fashion designers of the future with her presence. France’s fashion icon, stylist and designer legend, Chantal Thomass, accepted the invitation of the FRANKfurtstyleaward and takes over the honorary chairmanship of the Finale Jury Meeting which will take place on June 29, 2019 at Tendence, the trade fair for consumer goods (29 June – 1 July) in hall 8 of Messe Frankfurt. “I am delighted to be taking part in this renowned talent competition with a very professional and international jury. Kronberg/Sulzbach, October 1, 2018 – Anastasia Liebe Mona Homm and Charlotte Weber demonstrated their excellent talent to an enthusiastic audience in the Main-Taunus-Zentrum (MTZ) after successful performances in Berlin, Vancouver and Paris with a three-part “FRANKfurtstyleaward Fashion Show of the Newcomers”. Last Thursday there was enthusiasm and great recognition for the captivatingly choreographed stage show “Fashion Show of the Newcomers”. Three of the award-winning young designers of the FRANKfurtstyleward created a glamorous flair in the popular shopping center in the heart of the Rhine-Main metropolis. The three winners of the FRANKfurtstyleaward, Mona Homm (2016), Charlotte Weber (2017) and Anastasia Liebe (2015), presented their winning designs as well as selected pieces from their current collections and provided the astonished audience with explanations of their inspirations. Winner of FRANKfurtstyleaward 2017 Invited to Vancouver Fashion Week

Frankfurt/Hanover, August 2018 — The young fashion designer Charlotte Weber, Outstanding Talent of the FRANKfurtstyleaward 2017, is about to travel to Vancouver, Canada, to attend the forthcoming Vancouver Fashion Week in September. In November 2017, the 24-year-old was awarded Outstanding Talent by star designer Harald Glööckler as patron of the 10. FRANKfurtstyleaward honouring her creation “Buried Alive” under the theme of Modern Reality. Meanwhile, Charlotte Weber successfully completed her training as a custom tailor at Fahmoda Academy for Fashion and Design, Hanover, as well as her Bachelor’s degree in Fashion and Textile at the University of Hull.  With the trip to Vancouver Charlotte Weber takes advantage of her FRANKfurtstyleaward prize to present her first collection “The Perfect Illusion” during Vancouver Fashion Week, the second largest fashion week in North America (17.09.- 23.09.2018).
