The opening of the exhibition at the Frankfurt shopping mall MyZeil was a real eye-catcher! At the exhibition opening, Mayor Peter Feldmann announced his patronage of the FRANKfurtstyleaward 10th anniversary edition.
During the press tour, fashion designer Elle Asfour LAB member and winner of the Outstanding Talent Award 2015 Anastasia Liebe guided the guests to the six selected finalist outfits that can be admired on three floors of the shopping mall until October 30.
Finalist Malak Hakroush-Daas from Modeschule Kehrer in Mannheim also took part in the tour with her design “Sport Gathering Us” and impressed the press representatives and our partners Sevgi Schäfer, Famous Face Academy, Carlos Streil, EastWest Models and Berkan Tüzünatac, Berkan Design.
The guests were delighted by the displayed designs of the FRANKfurtstyleaward 2017’s “Modern Reality” Motto. The TOP60 Collection of the categories #working, #sporting and #dating will be presented by models from EastWest Models at the Fraport Forum on November 10. At the Gala, guests can also expect a fashion show by Berkan Design accompanied by a performance of the Pavarotti master student and star tenor Deniz Leone.
“The city needs creative minds,” emphasized FRANKfurtstyleaward ambassador and expert for fashion Jutta Prinzessin von Preußen, during the tour: “What the young people create is admirable. Young designers have courage, strength and imagination – that is what Frankfurt and the world needs. Mainstream and stagnation are not conducive, fashion moves.”
